At KayDance, we make hiring costumes easy! With over 20 years experience in the dance and performing arts industry, we understand the stress and hassle that costumes can cause teachers and studio owners. KayDance prides themselves in making a hassle free and effortless experience for schools, teachers, parents and students. We believe our hire prices are fair which includes the cleaning of each costume once returned, and delivery to Dance Schools in Melbourne. We do ask for a security bond to ensure the safe return of each costume.
What is involved...
Clients are provided with a costume list, which includes a photo of the costume, a description, accessories, sizes available and prices. Some costumes can be varied and we can help you find the right combination for your students. We are happy to send out a “Sample Sizing Pack” to assist with correct size choice for your students. Sizes may vary due to different fabrics being used on different costumes. Please thoroughly check the list as all sizes are set.
What happens once I have placed my order...
Once you have placed an order, the costumes will be delivered to you. Each costume set comes in its own box with a hire list attached. Teachers will receive a complementary hire location sheet with each set of costumes making items easily managed and tracked. To aid in the process, each costume has been numbered.
What happens once we have finished with the costumes...
Upon return of the costumes, we kindly ask that you check the costume list to ensure all garments are returned correctly. We appreciate honesty from our clients and expect that any lost or damaged items are either mentioned to us prior to return or written on the return’s slip. We ask that you do not clean any of the costumes, simply return them in their original packing and pickup will be arranged.
